Studying the material of the late Liu Ming

We are a community of students, teachers, and professional practitioners of traditional wisdom sciences originating in East Asia. These include: Feng Shui, Chinese medicine, Zi Wei Dou Shu and Tong Shu astrology, Nei Gong, meditation, Yi Jing Divination, the study of tea, incense, and seasonal nourishment. 

Our diverse practices take inspiration from the philosophical blossoming in Song Dynasty China, when Daoist esoteric cosmology, Buddhist possibilities of Awakening and various other traditions merged in a brilliant and unprecedented Way. 

DYC is a diverse mix of individuals from different backgrounds, ideologies, and countries whose aspirations and capacities differ widely. What holds us together as a group is a curiosity and interest in our common and innate experience as human-beings, our interest in wisdom traditions, and a willingness to experiment and self-reflect upon the conditions we find ourselves in. Our approach is practice- and cultivation-oriented, centering the practitioner in a self-resolving, embodied cosmology.
