Dr. Anne Shelton
DAOM, Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM)
Anne Shelton Crute is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a licensed acupuncturist at Ritual Health in the San Francisco Bay Area. She practices acupuncture, Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic and Tibetan herbalism, and Chinese Polestar astrology in Berkeley, California. Anne's interest in traditional medicine and consciousness has led her to study all over the world: India, Japan, and around the United States and Europe. Her mentors are some of the best Chinese medicine doctors, Ayurvedic vaidyas, and Tibetan menpas that contemporary times have known.
Anne studied Chinese Polestar astrology, Chinese medicine, and Buddhist and Daoist theory and practice directly with Liu Ming.
Since that time, she has been in the field for 10 years, integrating Polestar into her acupuncture practice according to the way Ming taught her. This helps us understand fate and free will dynamics, the importance of character, ancestral (aka previous-cause) foundations of health and disease, general prognosis, and yes: ritual remedies.
